Leadership Positions
PRESIDENT Jacob Meeks H.V.I.C. - (Head Vet In Charge) The basic responsibilities of this position are to plan and facilitate meetings as well as delegate tasks, coordinating with outside groups and oversee operations. VICE PRESIDENT Tyler Joki S.V.I.C. - (Second Vet in Charge) The responsibilities of the S.V.I.C. are basically the same as the H.V.I.C., The S.V.I.C. will also have the added responsibility of being the second in charge of the budget, after the Treasurer. TREASURER Shane Herman The Treasurer’s primary function is to budget, keep track of our funds and be responsible for the counting of money from our fundraisers. SECRETARY New Hire The Secretary will keep track of the main points gone over in meeting and send these out to all group members. There will probably need to be two secretary’s as we are looking at two separate bi-weekly meeting groups.
Recruiter - Chareeya Wilerson, Leon DuPont, Michele, George Verdugo In charge of promoting the group and bringing in new members.
Fundraising Coordinator - Will be the primary facilitator of fund-raisers (other than the H.V.I.C. and S.V.I.C.) and be in charge of collecting all the funds from our benefits and getting them to the treasurer.
Orientation Coordinator - Will be responsible for working with student orientation and leading (or finding others to lead) veteran orientations.
Benefits Consultant - John Gabriel An unofficial (not government sanctioned) consultant on how to go about getting your V.A. benefits.
Web Master - Shane Herman In charge of updating the SVA website. |
